Pocono Farms - A residential year around, retirement and vacation community in the Poconos Mountains near Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania. There are 2 distinctly different neighborhoods called Pocono Farms. Pocono Farms Country Club Association has golf course, pool, tennis, lake, clubhouse with restaurant, more amenities, scheduled community activities and is the larger of the two areas it is more vacation lifestyle and retirement oriented. Pocono Farms East has limited amenities and fewer homes with more homes occupied by year around residents. Both are residential subdivisions and neither has any Farms. The Poconos Mountains are a mountainous region of about 2,400 square miles in northeastern Pennsylvania. It is professionally managed by Appletree Management and has central water supplied by Pennsylvania American Water Co and homes have onsite septic systems.
